For this project 4th grade students looked at the work of Katsushika Hokusai. We talked about his use of complementary colors and atmospheric perspective. Students each created 2 projects so that they could do their watercolor paint in glazed layers. I love the varity of beautiful sceenery and interesting colors. Overall I am very pleased with how these look and I think the kids were too.
