Second grade chalk apples (West)

Kindergarten Gaston

Today in Kindergarten we read the story of Gaston, a cute little puppy who gets mixed up.  Then we drew great big comfy armchairs with our own favorite pets on them.

1st read post impressionist West

1st Grade artist spends the year learning about time peroids in art and great artists.  Our first was Paul Cezanne and the Post Impressionist. We talked aout what is a still life and what made Post Impressionist paintings different from a realist painting.  Then we created our own still lifes with apples and some fruits we imagined.
